Interview: "Barbie Takes the Catwalk" Interview with author Karan Feder

I was lucky enough to work with author Karan Feder in our early Hollywood days costuming Television shows. She joins me for a chat via KABC Talk Radio. She shares how the design team at MATTEL developed the unique Barbie fashion looks directly inspired by the Paris Catwalk from the 1950s to the 1980s. Her book has now been reprinted in many languages and is currently flying off the shelves. An exhibit of the same name featuring original vintage fashions and their Barbie counterparts recently opened this year at the Phoenix Art Museum.
